How are you planning on preventing boredom?
This is a living, breathing program. Let me explain that a little bit. In the military we regularly utilize what we call living documents. These documents are usually used when we are planning operations and exercises. The intent is that it takes months to effectively plan an event. How can I effectively plan an event that is 3 months out? I can’t, but I can start building a baseline. Once I have my baseline, I can determine what information I do not have. From there I can formulate my Requests For Information/Intelligence (RFIs) and push those out to my support elements. For example, if I plan on going from northern Virginia to the southern Arizona dessert, I need to know what the weather will be. I will then put out an RFI for average weather conditions in Arizona during the period I plan on being there. When I receive that information back I add it to my planning document. As the event draws closer I put out an RFI for forecasts, as I receive those I update my document. In this way to document is constantly changing up until it is put into execution.
So what does that have to do with a training program? Everything! This is a living program, that will be added to constantly to improve it. If you have a killer strength workout, e-mail it to us at agoge@grtevolutions and we will add it to our line up.
